The Christian Business Professionals Group was originally formed in February of 2008 for the Congregation of Shepherd of the Lakes Church in Brighton Mi by a few Member/Business Professionals looking to put together a paper Business Directory as well as a website to provide a safe place for members to find Service Oriented Businesses that were run by Ethical Christian Business Professionals from within the Church. As we began to grow and the word spread, we were approached by a member of Heart of the Shepherd Church in Howell Mi and asked if we would consider joining forces together as they had several members of their church that were also Ethical Christian Business Professionals that loved the idea of helping others.
Well as we all know, God works miracles, so through many prayers and weekly evening meetings, we stumbled upon a very exciting new calling for us!
We are currently working on developing monthly seminars for members of both Churches that are experiencing troubled times due to our difficult economy. What a calling for us! We have alot of work to do but we are confident that we will help many as we originally planned to do.
